SALMO 1 (MAZMUR 1)

                                                          

1:1 Berbahagialah orang yang tidak berjalan menurut nasihat orang fasik, yang tidak berdiri di jalan orang berdosa, dan yang tidak duduk dalam kumpulan pencemooh,

1:2 tetapi yang kesukaannya ialah Taurat TUHAN, dan yang merenungkan Taurat itu siang dan malam.

1:3 Ia seperti pohon, yang ditanam di tepi aliran air, yang menghasilkan buahnya pada musimnya, dan yang tidak layu daunnya; apa saja yang diperbuatnya berhasil.

1:4 Bukan demikian orang fasik: mereka seperti sekam yang ditiupkan angin.

1:5 Sebab itu orang fasik tidak akan tahan dalam penghakiman, begitu pula orang berdosa dalam perkumpulan orang benar;

1:6 sebab TUHAN mengenal jalan orang benar, tetapi jalan orang fasik menuju kebinasaan.

SALMO 1

Bem-aventurado o varão que não anda segundo o conselho dos ímpios, nem se detém no caminho dos pecadores, nem se assenta na roda dos escarnecedores.  

Antes, tem o seu prazer na lei do SENHOR, e na sua lei medita de dia e de noite.

Pois será como a árvore plantada junto a ribeiros de águas, a qual dá o seu fruto na estação própria, e cujas folhas não caem, e tudo quanto fizer prosperará.

Não são assim os ímpios; mas são como a moinha que o vento espalha.

Pelo que os ímpios não subsistirão no juízo, nem os pecadores na congregação dos justos.

Porque o SENHOR conhece o caminho dos justos; mas o caminho dos ímpios perecerá.

PSALM 1 (KING JAMES VERSION) 

Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the

ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the

seat of the scornful.

But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth

he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that

bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not

wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The ungodly [are] not so: but [are] like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor

sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
